Just thought i would catch up on a few empties this month. I have been using up again. Trying to get my extensive collection of beauty down before i go away and before i buy any more.
Chanel Teint Innocence Luminous Fluid Makeup SPF 12.
I had this in my drawer for years and had hardly used it. Vitalumiere Aqua replaced this; however, i still think the Teint Innocence was a better foundation.
The reason why is, that it had a medium coverage and it was just as luminous. A really lovely foundation and i think the only reason Chanel replaced it was to update and to get rid of the expensive glass bottle. I’m glad i finally used it up though. Lovely product.
Dior Star Brightening Weightless Foundation SPF 30 PA++ Long Wear.
I have to say that i just adore this foundation so much. It is super weightless with a light to medium coverage that gives a lovely natural and luminous finish. Fantastic for the winter. It does wear off slightly around the nose after 4 hours but thats not a problem and it only needs one touch up in 8 hours.
I will repurchase this because it beats most others i use hands down. I love that it is SPF 30 and lasts ages.
Charlotte Tilbury. The Retoucher Conceal & Treat Stick, 02 Fair.
Another one i love. A generous 3ml of product that gives a very nice coverage under the eye. A bit like Touche Éclat but more opaque. Love it and will repurchase at a later date when i have finally used a few other concealers up first.
Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner.
Already repurchased and using my new one. Contains 5% Glycolic acid which is great for gentle exfoliation of the skin. Can be used everyday as a toner. It also contains witch hazel and other botanical extracts. This helps to control my blemishes in a big way and also does brighten the skin.
The only slight negative is, its smell and it is quite pricey too. The smell is quite strong; however, it doesn’t remain on the skin. No alcohol in this either. Is great on sensitive skin.
A ‘must have’ in my skin care arsenal. Love it!
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum.
I bought this one to try out as the other one i own and love is quite strong and if you overdo it, it can make the eyes puff up.
This version has a touch of cream in it and a pump. One tiny pump does both eyes and it lasts a very long time, (6 months at least).
I did like it very much but prefer the other version, so i repurchased that instead.
Picture above right, left; is the ANR Eye Serum i have just finished and right; the one i have re-purchased.
Nuxe Prodigeuse Oil, Multi- Purpose Dry Oil. Hair, Face and Body.
I buy this time and time again. It’s fantastic.
A very light weight oil that can be used all over including the ends of the hair. Dries down very quickly to a lovely gentle and very natural fragrance.
A friend of mine adds a drop of it to her foundation to give a more luminous finish to her makeup.
It’s France’s number one selling dry oil for a reason.
Kérastase Sérum Thérapiste Dual Treatment. Fiber Quality Renewal Care.
Great for adding to the ends of the hair before blow drying. It is a treatment for the hair itself rather than an oil that over lays the hair.
Smoothes and protects the hair cuticle while drying or can also be used on dry hair as well.
A lovely product and again, i will repurchase when some of my others run out. Third bottle so far and it last’s roughly 2-3 months with every day use.
Avène EauThernale Thermal Spring Water. Smoothing and anti-irritating.
I always carry this around with me, especially in the summer time. It just refreshes and hydrates my skin when my skin dehydrates during the day. It can be sprayed over makeup without upseting it. The spray is a very fine mist.
It comes in this handy size can for the hand bag and a larger one for the dresser.
There you have it. My empties for this month. Take care and i will see you all soon. 😉
