Chanel Le Volume Mascara…………………….Pruned and Perfect Lashes

Hi Everyone,

Hope you’re all doing fine. I recently did a post on a sample of the new Chanel Le Volume mascara here. Loving the results that much, i decided to go ahead and purchase a full sized one.

Chanel Le Volume Mascara 30 PruneAs i own a couple of black mascaras at the moment, i opted for a different shade in this one and i chose 30 Prune instead.

Chanel Le Volume Wand 30 PruneThis shade is an aubergine colour but applies on quite dark with a hint of red/black.

Chanel Prune Le Volume MascaraOften, when i have bought different shades of mascara other than black, in the past from various companies, it seems to have affected the ability to lengthen, curl and thicken lashes. Well, i didn’t find that problem with this one at all. It was as good a finish as the sample i tried in Noir.

My Thoughts

I like this shade very much and i will try the navy blue one when this has finished.Chanel Mascara Le Volume

Chanel Le Volume mascara does make the lashes long, separated, curled and slightly thicker; however, it is very pricey for the amount you get, at £24.00 for only 6ml of product. I don’t expect it to last more than two months with daily use. I am also a little disappointed with the packaging. The inimitable mascara from Chanel comes in a beautiful classy casing and even though this is typical understated and sleek packaging from Chanel, it lacks that classy finish. Not a deal breaker though, just a slight niggle.

Yes, i will repurchase but i would also like to try Dior Extase in Plum too.

Have you tried this new formula mascara yet? Have fun everyone and i will see you all soon. 😉
